The Independent's Johann Hari blames allegedly untreated sewage from Jewish settlements for a "stinking brown-and yellow-river of waste" on Palestinian land, when in fact it is Palestinian sewage which is dumped completely untreated.

CAMERA's Op-Ed, published on April 21 in the Jerusalem Post, discusses an example of how media coverage greatly benefitted from swift and effective response by Israeli officials, and concludes that nothing in the war of ideas and images takes the place of the all-important work of refuting defamation. 
The United Methodist Church has published a shamefully biased and inaccurate book about the Arab-Israeli conflict that portrays the Jewish people as too paranoid and psychologically damaged by the Holocaust to be trusted with self-determination. 
"Israel Lobby" professors Walt and Mearsheimer charge that because of its alleged misdeeds Israel is an unworthy ally of the U.S., and cite as proof numerous seemingly damaging "quotations" from Israeli leaders. The problem is that all the quotations are from secondary sources or worse, and all are false. 
After a writer accuses "the Jews" of being the biggest players in the global culture of violence that is destroying humanity, the Washingtonpost.com and Newsweek moderators apologize: "The Gandhi post failed to comply with [our] mission ... We regret the initial posting, and we apologize for the episode." 
A Los Angeles Times op-ed by Stephen Walt and John Mearsheimer spewed more of the authors anti-Israel inaccuracies and was accompanied by an anti-Semitic cartoon more at home in a neo-Nazi publication than a supposedly major newspaper. For years, Charles Enderlin of French public television network France 2 has been battling accusations that his September 30, 2000 newscast of a Palestinian boy allegedly shot to death by Israelis was staged. The Israeli government has now joined the chorus of voices that insist the broadcast was staged for propaganda purposes. 
On October 31, CNN rebroadcast "God's Jewish Warriors" for the first time since late August. While serious factual errors identified by CAMERA were addressed and many editorial changes made, the fundamentally dishonest premise of the series remains. 
CAMERA's letter to the editor in the Oct. 29 issue of Newsweek follows an interview with Mahmoud Abbas in which the Palestinian leader incorrectly described Bill Clinton's peace proposal of 2000.
