WABC-TV is licensed in New York City to ABC7. In operation since Aug. 10, 1948, it is own by the American Broadcasting Company, Inc. Over a four-week period, WABC-TV will be viewed in over 6.4 million TV households. WABC-TV is carried on every cable system serving the New York DMA, with virtually all of them assigning it Channel 7.
