CAMERA Prompts ABC Correction on Gaza Settlements


Following communication from CAMERA staff, ABC News Web editors have corrected an Oct. 22 column by Abby D. Phillip which had wrongly stated that the expansion of Gaza Strip settlements was causing U.S.-Israeli friction. The error, first noted last week in our Snapshots blog, follows:

As Snapshots noted, Israel fully uprooted all Gaza Strip settlements years before President Obama came into office. The Obama-Netanyahu settlement spat concerned West Bank settlements. The corrected version which now appears online follows:
