CAMERA’s Israel office has prompted correction of an article by Lily Galili on i24 News which incorrectly identified the Green Line as “Israel’s internationally recognized border.” In fact, the Green Line is an armistice demarcation line, and not an internationally recognized border.
The June 30 article originally stated (“Analysis: This kidnapping won’t end in a prisoner exchange“):
Following communication from CAMERA, i24 News editors commendably edited the text, correcting the erroneous reference to the Green Line. It now appears as follows:
