CAMERA again prompts correction of an AFP article which incorrectly stated that the Entebbe hijackers singled out Israelis, keeping them hostage. In fact, the Palestinian and German terrorists singled out Jews, both Israelis and non-Israelis.
CAMERA prompts a quick AFP correction after the agency incorrectly reported that "millions" of Palestinians were displaced. The wire service failed, however, to correct the false statement that Hamas revised its founding charter, easing its stance on the destruction of Israel. CAMERA's Israel office prompts correction of an AFP article which understated the number of Israeli soldiers killed in battles in Jenin in April 2002. The Daily Mail also corrects. CAMERA prompts corrections to AFP photo captions today which incorrectly claimed that an assailant killed two Israelis in Halamish and which failed to identify the murderer as Palestinian. A Palestinian terrorist stabbed three members of the Salomon family to death. 
CAMERA prompts key AFP additions about attacks on Israelis. Jordanian authorities agreed with Israel that a Jordanian worker stabbed an Israeli. Also, Israel added new Temple Mount security measures following a deadly Arab attack on policemen. A series of AFP photo captions noted: "Israel took the highly unusual decision to close the Al-Aqsa mosque compound for Friday prayers, leading to anger from Muslims and Jordan." Only after communication from CAMERA did the agency add the reason for the closure and new security measures: a deadly attack by Israeli Arabs.
Virtually devoid of actual examples of incitement in the Palestinian school system, an AFP article today gives credence to the Palestinian denial of the widespread phenomenon. CAMERA prompts correction today of an AFP feature entitled which falsely stated that the 1988 Palestinian Declaration of Independence referred to "two states for two peoples" and that "this recognition is endorsed by" the PLO.
