Borders, Security Barrier and Checkpoints

NPR Smears Israel with Skewed Charges

Aggressive bias continues at NPR, America's foremost publicly-funded radio network, with lopsided time afforded Israel's detractors. Unsupported and anecdotal charges of Israeli misconduct are routinely aired without any balance or counterpoint. Partisan groups critical of Israel are characterized euphemistically as neutral champions of "peace" and "human rights."

Bob Simon Not Fenced In By Facts

Monitor Muddles Terrorism and Fence Building

A Christian Science Monitor article treats the Israeli victims of a terrorist attack as an afterthought. To the Monitor, the tragedy seems to be -- not that two civilians were killed -- but that the suicide bombers “threatened to undermine the Palestinian Authority’s campaign to stop Israel’s barrier.”

CAMERA Letter on Road Map Published in Boston Globe: Palestinians Must Stop Violence First

“POINTERS for Sharon” (editorial, July 29) points in the wrong direction. To say that if Ariel Sharon takes the “measures” of releasing more prisoners, suspending work on a security fence, taking down more checkpoints, and freezing settlements, then “Palestinian action should be to disarm militant groups” disregards completely the basic imperatives of the peace endeavor the Globe has repeatedly praised.

CAMERA Letter-to-the Editor Printed in Daily Herald

Ray Hanania's July 4 column contained several serious errors...The fence being built between Israel and the West Bank to protect Israelis from terrorists has nothing to do with Gaza and nothing to do with the death of Rachel Corrie.
