Media Amplifies “Video” Used to Excuse Amsterdam Violence — Does it Exist?
After last week’s “Jew hunt” in Amsterdam, anti-Israel activists rushed to excuse the brutal assaults. If Israelis and Jews across the city were beaten down and kicked while lying defenseless and unconscious, the focus, they insisted, should be on Jewish behavior. The media soon joined in.
The New York Times, Telegraph, Huffington Post, and Daily Caller have corrected or pulled an inaccurate quote of former Israeli ambassador Michael Oren. 
Alex Awad, the Dean of Students at Bethlehem Bible College, has agreed to remove a fake Ben Gurion quote from future DVDs of his presentation about the Arab-Israeli conflict.
