Accuracy and accountability are among the most important tenets of journalism. In combination, they mean media organizations are expected to publish or broadcast forthright corrections after sharing inaccurate information. The following corrections are among the many prompted by CAMERA’s communication with reporters and editors.

On Christmas, CAMERA-Prompted AP ‘Palestine’ Correction Reaches More Than 180 Media Outlets

CAMERA's Christmas correction at the Associated Press reaches well over 180 media outlets in the United States and beyond. While Pope Leo referred to "Palestine," the news agency amended the article to more accurately refer to "the Palestinian territories."

CAMERA Prompts NPR Correction: Scrolls Found in Israel

NPR and WBUR's radio program Here and Now had misplaced the location of Cave of Horror, where new fragments of Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

“Here and Now” Corrects on “New Settlements” Plan

"Here and Now," produced by NPR and WBUR, is the latest to correct the erroneous claim that Israeli plans to build thousands of "new settlements." Plans are for new homes in existing settlements, not for new settlements.
