Following a series of Palestinian attacks over the weekend, CAMERA today prompted corrections of two headlines, in The Forward and in Voice of America, which depicted reported Palestinian assailants as victims. CAMERA's UK Media Watch prompts correction of a Sunday Times article which referred to Israeli "atrocities" as fact. The amended article refers to "alleged atrocities." Biased captions by AFP and Reuters about Gaza teen Abdulrahman Al-Dabag noted only the Palestinian charge that Israeli troops shot him dead. Thanks to CAMERA, the agencies add that Israel's army said troops used only tear gas. After CAMERA contacted Reuters editors about a skewed headline that once again reversed the perpetrator and victim to whitewash Palestinian terrorism, editors thanked CAMERA, apologized and corrected.

CAMERA contacted VOA after a headline made it seem Palestinians killed during attacks on Israelis were victims of Israeli violence. The media organization subsequently amended the headline. CAMERA prompts correction of a Los Angeles Times article which incorrectly reported that Friday's Gaza rocket attacks against Israel were the first since October. In fact, there were at least two monthly in November, December and January.

The article incorrectly stated that an Eritrean asylum seeker was by "beaten to death" during an attack in Be'er Sheva. CAMERA's Israel office prompts another New York Times correction.
