Following communication from Presspectiva, CAMERA's Hebrew branch, Ha'aretz has corrected a column by Anshel Pfeffer which had wrongly blamed Israel for the death of four-year-old Gazan Mahmoud Sadallah.
The Israel office of CAMERA prompted Ha'aretz to correct an online news brief in English which had wrongly identified a Hamas man killed by Israeli forces as a "Palestinian civilian." The error and correction follow:
Ha'aretz's most prominent headline and lead story today claim an Israeli government reports says that two army officers were disciplined "for using white phosphorous." In fact, the report said the reprimand was for unjustified artillery fire.
