The Opinion editor refuses to correct claims that Eilat was an Egyptian port, Abbas accepts a Jewish state, Israel built no Arab cities, and Palestinian factions don't call for a one-state solution, and defends the claims with alternative facts of his own. 
The Marwan Barghouti Op-Ed fiasco underscores that while The Times says it holds governments accountable, it exempts the Palestinians. And while it claims to check and uncover facts, it gives a pass to "the facts" offered up by convicted terrorists. 
Tamar Sternthal, director of CAMERA's Israel office, receives a tweet from Matt Seaton, a staff editor for The New York Times opinion page, in which he admits that a special standard applies for Palestinians.
