UPDATED: The Media Erodes the Jewish Claim to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount
The Western media has increasingly abetted Palestinian propaganda efforts to erase the Jewish claim to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. Far too many journalists today accept the historic revisionism and political falsehoods put out by Palestinian activists and leaders and promote it with their own jargon and linguistic tricks.
In a series timed to coincide with Israeli elections, NPR's Morning Edition suggests that Israel's claims to the West Bank are illegitimate and its settlements illegal and portray Palestinians as hapless victims who bear no responsibility for their misfortunes 
Two countries border the Gaza Strip. Both strictly limit the passage of goods and people into and out of the Strip. But when describing the effect of these border restrictions, some inaccurately and unfairly attribute responsibility to only one of the countries — Israel. 
While some media reports now include statements from Israeli officials maintaining that Hamas manufactured the disputed crisis and accusing the terrorist group of responsibility for hardships, almost all ignore similar statements from Arabs.
