The Global Blood Libel against Israel

Mohammed Merah, the confessed Toulouse killer, said he wanted to avenge the deaths of Palestinian children. The drumbeat of false accusations that Israel murders Palestinian children is a modern day blood libel in which the media is complicit.

Defaming the Holocaust

On Dec. 24, 2010 the Jewish Advocate published an op-ed on the intent by Northeastern University's Holocaust Awareness Committee's to invite controversial Israeli filmmaker Yoav Shamir to speak at their annual Holocaust Commemoration event. Shamir produced the film Defamation which mocks Jewish concerns over anti-Semitism and accuses Jews of exploiting the Holocaust.

Praise for a Jew-Hater

Muhammed Sayyd Tantawi's status as an inveterate anti-Semite did not disqualify the late sheikh as the darling of inter-religious dialogue. He was lionized by the Vatican, the World Council of Churches and others before and after his death.

Color Purple Author Smears Israel with False Colors

Author/poet Alice Walker (1983 Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction for The Color Purple), also something of a fringe activist, vilified Israel and Jews during a 2010 book tour to promote her new book based on travels to Africa and “Palestine/Israel.” Did Jewish philanthropists conduct due diligence before supporting her appearances?

Time Magazine Promotes Anti-Jewish Prejudice

In its Sept. 13 edition, Time shocked many readers with a cover image of a Jewish star comprised of daisies with the title "Why Israel Doesn't Care About Peace." The article, while not quite as slanderous as the cover, nevertheless contains fallacies and invokes anti-Semitic stereotypes.
