Is Jeremy Bowen Making a Mockery of BBC “Impartiality”?

Jeremy Bowen’s comments, should they be accurate, breach BBC guidelines on multiple levels, and the BBC’s conduct on this issue suggest that his leadership is materially damaging the BBC’s commitment to impartiality. A Week of Jeremy Bowen: Analysis or Opinion?

There is a line between analysis and opinion, and on the BBC that line must be iron. Analysis presents facts and shows how those facts connect. On the BBC, it cannot be partisan. It must be entirely factual, accurate and impartial. It must be a tool to allow audiences to reach their own conclusions.
