CAMERA’s Israel office today prompts correction of an Op-Ed by Hebrew University political scientist Shlomo Avineri who erroneously wrote yesterday that Nelson Mandela “never visited Israel” (“Mandela’s Blind Spot“).
The original passage follows:
CAMERA staff contacted Ha’aretz editors who this morning immediately corrected the article online, and promised a correction in the print edition as well. The passage has been amended, and now appears as follows:
