MSNBC: Four Months of Disinformation
Common distortions include omitting the 2005 disengagement from Gaza and the subsequent election of a group sworn to Israel's destruction to power in the territory, promoting anti-Israel propagandists, and ignoring the numbers of casualties that are reported to be Hamas fighters. In addition, at least two commentators called on the US to force Israel essentially to surrender.
An ‘anti-Islamophobia activist' supported by Muslim Brotherhood spin-off CAIR reportedly makes his way from MSNBC to ISIS. Not that you'd learn about it from mainstream news media. 
NBC and MSNBC miss the reason for the "rather lopsided conflict." The Israeli government invests in protecting its civilians and also tries to warn Gaza's civilians away from danger. Hamas, in contrast, serves up its civilians as human shields.
