How and Why to Edit Wikipedia

Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia that allows anybody anywhere to edit, has been described as a "game," a forum where academics and other knowledgeable people who try to contribute are "beaten back" in a world of "part anarchy, part mob rule," and worse. The encyclopedia's problems will not disappear if more good-faith editors participate. But it might help a bit.
