MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin Pushes False Narrative of Dispossession
Five years after commendably clarifying maps which falsely depicted Israel as having dispossessed Palestinians of their territory, MSNBC again pushes a false narrative of Palestinian dispossession. This time, Ayman Moyheldin conceals that the El-Kurd family faces eviction because they refused to pay rent for their Jewish-owned home in Jerusalem's Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Two ostensibly experienced Middle East reporters make numerous errors on basic West Bank facts. 
MSNBC used a series of hoax chronological maps showing an Arab "Palestine" in 1946. It corrected the error on the air, commendably. 
NBC and MSNBC miss the reason for the "rather lopsided conflict." The Israeli government invests in protecting its civilians and also tries to warn Gaza's civilians away from danger. Hamas, in contrast, serves up its civilians as human shields.
