When organized crime wants to hide profits from their criminal enterprises, they launder it through seemingly legitimate business, and after a step or two, the money is clean. Unfortunately, CNN is trying the same trick with casualty reporting from Gaza.
What Israelis saw Saturday was innocent children and teenagers and the elderly being carted off as prisoners of war, and a dead body of a woman being paraded in the street as a trophy. Comparing this to any defensive action taken by the IDF is despicable.
It seems likely that CNN's Christiane Amanpour entirely fabricated findings from nonexistent “latest polls.” A request for substantiation sent to Amanpour has so far gone unanswered.
By glibly attempting to compare Israel to Bashar al-Assad's brutal regime, Amanpour once again demonstrates that she places her contempt for the Jewish state over her commitment to honesty.
The extent of Israel’s support for the Ukraine and condemnation of Russia is a source of controversy and debate, both within and outside the country, but only someone bent on demonizing the Jewish state would paint it as a simple matter of Israel's inferior “morality.”
Using an Israeli film as a base point, Amanpour’s panel discussion echoed Palestinian propaganda. Panelist Helal criticized recent U.S. Middle East diplomats, adding pejoratively, “they were all Jewish.”
Christian Amanpour's softball interview with Iranian FM Zarif on Iran's nuclear activity and belligerence in the region is a study in contrast with her hostile cross-examination of Israeli politician Gideon Saar who dared dispute her fallacious assertion that Israeli is legally responsible for vaccinating Palestinians.
The Associated Press (AP) and Reuters coverage of the Hanan Ashrawi resignation used by a multitude of media outlets large and small, merely echoed the resignation announcement and depicted her only in positive terms. Meanwhile CNN’s Amanpour even partnered with Ashrawi to defame Israel.
The broadcast suggests that there would have been a decent chance for a realistic peace agreement with the Palestinians if not for the 1995 assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. This notion is detached from reality.
