Accuracy and accountability are among the most important tenets of journalism. In combination, they mean media organizations are expected to publish or broadcast forthright corrections after sharing inaccurate information. The following corrections are among the many prompted by CAMERA’s communication with reporters and editors.
After CAMERA contacted Post editors, the newspaper published a correction noting that it had "incorrectly said that the Israeli government wants to formally annex Area C in the West Bank [Judea and Samaria."

After CAMERA contacted Reuters editors about a skewed headline that once again reversed the perpetrator and victim to whitewash Palestinian terrorism, editors thanked CAMERA, apologized and corrected.

After BBC Persian accused Elie Wiesel of charging Israel with "genocide," CAMERA's BBC Watch communicated with editors and secured a correction to the false claim. CAMERA prompts correction of a Los Angeles Times article which wrongly referred to the Western Wall as the last remnant of the Temple complex. In fact, there are many extant remains. CAMERA prompts improvement in AFP captions which reported as fact the disputed Palestinian claim that Israeli forces fired rubber bullets, killing Palestinian Mohiyeh al-Tabakhi, 12. The caption still fails to note Israel's denial.
CAMERA’s facts convince History Channel to revise erroneous wording minimizing Einstein’s Zionism and implying that Israel had hostile intentions toward the Arabs who were to become known as “The Palestinians.” After CAMERA contacted AFP about their use of the term "alleged" to describe actual, murderous terror attacks by Palestinians, the wire service corrected the faulty text.
