VOA Corrects: BDS Support Not Illegal in Israel

Following the CAMERA-prompted correction of a Reuters article which erroneously reported that Israel has criminalized support for BDS, CAMERA has elicited correction of the same point at Voice of America which had falsely reported that the BDS movement is illegal in Israel.

Following communication from CAMERA, Haaretz clarifies its Airbnb coverage, making clear that the hospitality company's West Bank settlements boycott does not also extend to eastern Jerusalem. The New York Post likewise corrects the error.

Reuters Corrects About Israel’s Capital, New Law About Speakers in Schools

CAMERA prompts Reuters to correct after an article erroneously referred to Tel Aviv as shorthand for Israel. The news agency also corrected a headline which inaccurately stated that a new Israeli laws "bans some left-wing groups," while the law in question also affects right-wing groups which take action against Israel's army.

CAMERA Prompts Corrections on Gideon Levy Column

In response to communication from CAMERA, Ha'aretz today commendably corrects, in Hebrew and English, Gideon Levy's false claim that according to Amnesty International "only 92 Palestinian fighters" were killed in Cast Lead.
