It will not be the last," Hamas said in a statement following the terrorist attack at Mercaz HaRav, a Jewish yeshiva in Western Jerusalem, as candy was handed out in celebration in the Gaza Strip. Just three days earlier, a Reuters headline on an article presenting Hamas terrorists as heroic warriors trumpeted, "Inspired by God, Hamas Fighters Battle On." 
The media readily conveyed United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's condemnation of how Israel carried out its Gaza operation. But there is more to the story than meets the news consumer's eye. 
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil seems to be Reuters philosophy when it comes to covering attacks against Palestinian Christians by Palestinian Muslims. Alistair Lyon's "Misery Tempts Palestinian Christians to Flee" is only the latest example. 
A suicide attack in Eilat followed a speech by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to a Fatah rally two weeks earlier exhorting Palestinians to avoid internecine fighting and direct their arms at Israeli "occupation" instead.
