A Reuters handbook tells reporters, and promises readers, that it will "take no side, tell all sides." But apparently this doesn't apply to Israel's side of a disputed shooting. 
As terror attacks continue to shake Israel, journalists and headline writers seem to be doing their best to obscure the reality of the Palestinian stabbings, and even to cast attackers as victims of arbitrary Israeli violence. 
Following communication from CAMERA, Reuters corrects an article which stated yesterday that 5,442 Palestinians are held in administrative detention. The actual figure is less than 400. CAMERA prompts clarification of a Reuters "Gaza's blockade" graphic which had noted only Israeli restrictions and ignored the much harsher Egyptian blockade, misrepresenting Rafah as under Israeli control. 
One year after Gaza fighting, media outlets highlight stagnant civilian rebuilding and ignore Hamas' alleged success in rearming. Also, Reuters agrees there's a problem with a graphic which falsely depicts Egypt's closure of Rafah as part of Israel's blockade.
It's Jan. 1, so it's party time in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Massive rallies mark 50 years since Fatah's first terror attack against Israel, but media outlets are reporting the anniversary of Fatah's founding. 
News media increasing conflate execute with murder. This is not simply an erroneous word choice. It is, rather, a potentially demoralizing confusion.
