Shortly after running a headline that wrongly claimed Israel used "banned" shells during its war with Hezbollah, the Philadelphia Inquirer ran a correction.

After a caption on a photo of a Palestinian rally wrongly stated the demonstrators were protesting Hamas's refusal to recognize Israel, CAMERA staff prompted the following correction.
CAMERA Prompts AFP Correction on Qassam Fatalities
In response to communication from CAMERA staff, Agence France-Presse corrected an article today which had understated the number of fatalities caused by Palestinian rocket attacks from Gaza.
AP Corrects Misquote of Hamas Leader
The Associated Press wrongly claimed that Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, in a July 2006 interview, called for Muslims to fight to liberate the West Bank. After CAMERA pointed out Deif was actually calling to "liberate" Israel in its entirety, the Associated Press published a correction.
Los Angeles Times Corrects: Nahariya Not a Settlement
CAMERA staff elicited a correction from the Los Angeles Times today that Nahariya, the northern Israeli town where Samir Kuntar carried out a terrorist attack in 1979, is not a Jewish settlement. Beyond the factual error, Tempest's article was extremely one-sided, drawing a sympathetic, emotive picture of the "plight" of Samir Kuntar and his family, while completely ignoring that of his victims.

CAMERA prompted a Los Angeles Times correction today regarding a headline which wrongly stated that Israel rejected a peace offer. The error and correction follow:
NPR and IHT Corrected. Will Ha’aretz?
In an Op-Ed yesterday, Ha'aretz's Nehemia Shtrasler erroneously refers to the IDF as "the world's fifth largest" army. The Israeli army is not even the fifth largest in the Middle East , never mind the world. Other major media outlets have corrected this very same error, and CAMERA urges Ha'aretz to follow suit.
Siegman Fabrications Result in LA Times Correction
Henry Siegman has a history of dishonesty when writing about the Arab-Israeli conflict. So it is perhaps no surprise that the Los Angeles Times found it necessary to publish a correction to demonstrably false assertions in Siegman's June 18, 2006 Op-Ed.
The IHT Corrects Error on Palestinian Casualties
The International Herald Tribune wrongly blamed an unexploded Israeli shell for the death of two Palestinians in Khan Yunis last month. CAMERA staff prompted the following correction:
