CAMERA Prompts CNN.com Correction on Jerusalem
Following communication from CAMERA staff, CNN editors corrected an online article which had wrongly stated that Israel captured Jerusalem in 1967. The error and correction follow:

In response to communication from CAMERA, CNN editors vastly improve yesterday's egregious coverage of Gaza violence which had omitted mention of Israeli injured, had stated that an Israeli army jeep was "target[ed]" whereas it was actually hit, and had reversed cause and effect. Reuters, CNN, and the Washington Times all misreported the amount of U.S. aid Israel to help compensate for damage caused by Iraqi missiles during the Gulf War. All three eventually corrected.
CNN Web Site Corrects Misleading Road Map Description
A CNN Web site story was amended to reflect both Israeli and Palestinian obligations under the "Road Map" after CAMERA pointed out a misleading description of the peace plan.
Media Flouting Journalistic Ethics No “Work Accident”
In their evening broadcasts of June 22, ABC and NBC reported as fact that Israel killed three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, despite the fact that the circumstances surrounding their deaths were disputed.

Reporting on Israel's missile attack on a PLO militia commander, CNN deceived viewers by characterizing the man merely as a member of a "political party," despite the fact that he was thought responsible for killing three Israeli soldiers, and for nightly sniper fire at an Israeli neighborhood in Jerusalem.
