“The public as well as the state must tackle antisemitism,” declared the Guardian in its editorial following the Golders Green stabbing attack targeting Jews.
Ironic, given that the Guardian has spent the two and a half years since the Oct. 7 attack laundering pro-Hamas propaganda and spreading vicious libels about the Jewish state, contributing to the antisemitism epidemic in the UK.
The Guardian started promoting the “genocide” lie almost immediately after the worst antisemitic atrocity since the Holocaust, before the IDF even entered Gaza. It hasn’t stopped peddling the big lie in the years since.
Now, just a week after its anodyne condemnation of antisemitism, the Guardian ran another editorial lamenting the supposed lack of “outrage” toward Israel.
On top of the “genocide” lie, the piece contains more libels: that Israel is using water as a weapon of war, and that insufficient humanitarian aid is entering Gaza.
And true to Guardian form, it ignores Hamas’ role in perpetuating Gazans’ misery, from the terrorist organization’s catastrophic decision to launch a war on October 7, through its use of civilians as human shields and its looting of humanitarian aid, to its refusal to abide by the US-brokered ceasefire’s demand to disarm.
Acknowledging any of that would mean recognizing Palestinians’ agency—something the Guardian is loath to do.
