“78 years of ongoing Nakba,” declared the “State of Palestine” on X, along with a video presumably meant to illustrate that nakba—the narrative that portrays Israel’s establishment as a “catastrophe” that depended on Palestinians’ “erasure” by Israeli “occupiers.”
Oops! This photo shows Arab fighters next to a burnt-out Jewish convoy truck that was on its way to supply Jerusalem’s besieged Jewish population.
Wait…this one, labeled “1950,” actually shows a march of Fatah fedayeen in Beirut…in the 1970s.
Seriously? This photo shows Yemenite Jews en route to Israel in Operation Magic Carpet, when Israel rescued the entire Yemenite Jewish community.
This one, marked “1958,” shows an anti-Zionist demonstration in Jerusalem…in 1920. Signs declared: “Palestine is part of Syria.”
1964? Nope, those are wounded Palestinian fighters during Black September in 1970, when Palestinian terrorists tried to take over Jordan, and Jordan’s King Hussein ordered a crackdown.
Just a reminder: this is the official account for the Palestinian mission to the UN. Their credibility speaks for itself.
